It is a dynamic website/application and not static that requires downtime to update the data. They are installing patches (bug fixes, upgrades, feature removals) to their application. It has nothing to do with the underlying data that the application uses to work. If you see below every page, there is an option to report an issue with that web page. I myself have reported many so far. They get these feedbacks and apply fixes accordingly. That’s how SDLC works everywhere.

OK I agree but in the past this was actually true during many updates. I was excited since I did not see such mtc. popup this year. :)

I saw some updates in the Google tracking sheet that folks from this group received their AOR1. Is this true? Doesn't seem to be the case for March or April applications. Mine was submitted in June, so just seeing if there's actually been any progress.

I noticed this as well and I wondered if there was a little hope regarding movement overall.

It is a mistake, none of May applicants received anything. Just a silly joke from someone who went there playing.

Has anyone from May 2020 Outland sponsorship heard any news from IRCC?
No updates whatsoever since Late February-early March. Some of late February applicants and all March, April and May applicants did not receive the AOR1. Seems IRCC stopped working on new spouse applications despite the offices re-open of this month.

We continue to process study permit and work permit applications submitted online and permanent residence applications. Paper applications for visitor visas, study and work permits will not be processed until further notice. (2/3)

We are processing paper-based permanent residence applications to the extent possible. We will contact you once there is an update regarding your application. Please note it is not possible to re-submit a paper based PR application online. (3/3) "
