Any May 4th applicants still waiting for AoR?? I don’t understand how they skip some applications! This is so frustrating.

When I make the payments for me and my child, I
paid total $730 ($630 for me+ $100 for me) paid in one transaction payment. But I print out and attached payment receipt for both me and my child application. Is that ok? Thanks in advance.

That’s perfectly alright, as long as the total amount adds up for both you and your child. Moreover your child is your dependent and both your apps will be processed at the same time.

CIC received my files on 13-May and until now no news for AOR yet.

Quick question: If I forgot to check on the check box on the document checklist for payment (but I attached payment receipt with other documents for both me and my daughter for total CAD 730, will CIC return my application? I can’t remember exactly whether I check on that check box or not. Thank you in advance and any idea?

I believe this doesn’t qualify for return of application, since payment receipt is attached to the app. But you never know, CIC has returned apps in the past for very silly reasons. Best is to call the call center line to be 100% sure.

Hello May Applicants!
Oh I was searching for any similar group, i am so anoyyed from CIC, anyhow i would very much appreciate being added to the spreadsheet.

Family application.
We just renewed our PR on Feb 2020, I hope this will help.

One of my friends applied for his citizenship on Feb 2020, he just received acknowledgment from CIC (it's almost 6 months) , is that means we should expect to hear from CIC by Nov 2020?????!! Its too much!?!

Hi AB-AM,

Congratulations on AOR. I submitted my application on June. However, as i received federal offer, as this is required Citizenship. I sent CSE to request Urgent Processing after i sent my initial application.

I do not know whether they can trace my application, and processing it. I requested Urgent Processing after I sent my application. Please can you advise. i have not received response to the CSE.

Any advise would be helpful.

They prefer to send the whole application again along with your urgent request, this is to save ton of time, but as you sent it already, just sit and wait, otherwise you can do so
