It has been a long journey for everyone, but I hope this information gives some hope especially to Inland FSW applicants that your applications are being finalised, and hopefully approved soon.

* EDIT: In my first post, I mentioned COPR - however, it was the portal email that I have received this morning. Apologies for any confusion caused.

I want to ask a question concerning my PR application.

We have applied and gotten AOR, however, my husband and I have decided to add a middle name for daughter's international passport. This will mean doing a brand new international passport for her with a new passport no.

Should we go ahead with it and infom IRCC or we shouldn't.

Anyone with similar situation?

If you change the passport or any details in it you have to inform IRCC. The passport is your identity document and will continue to remain one until you receive your Canadian citizenship.

All documents that you receive from IRCC or an entity in Canada will have your name and dob as listed on the paspsort.,

Thank you. I will go ahead and get a new passport for my daughter and infom IRCC, hopefully it doesn't cause any further delay
