Please help if anyone knows about it
Hi,
I can share what I did in my application.
I changed my answer to no. Then in my letter of explanation. I wrote explanation to the officer that I have changed ‘no’ for that particular question and I have not claimed any points for it.

Thankyou @legalfalcon

One last thing, do i need to travel back with PRTD within the COPR expiry date or i can travel anytime irrespective of my COPR expiring

There is no expiry date of a COPR. CORP is NOT a travel document. The date on the cOPR simply means that before that date you have to enter Canada and be admitted as a PR. If you are an inland applicant, you will be sent a COPR which is signed and stamped, and effective that date you become a PR.

The COPR will be your proof of PR status in Canada for life or until you hold it.

Since you cannot enter Canada with only a COPR, you will have to have a PR card or apply for a PRTD if you do not have a PR card.

Hello all,

My PR application got approved today. Haven't received any emails yet and none received for GU. I called CIC on Mar 18th 2021 but they gave me the same status I am getting since Nov 2020 (Security - Not started, Criminality - In progress)

AOR 24 May 2020
Medical 14 July 2020
Biometrics 17 Oct 2020 (Bio Exempted)
Background 14 March 2021
Approval 20 March 2021

My application is from the week they are processing now. Hope everyone waiting gets it soon!

I noticed a pattern that some of us are receiving their PRs shortly after they call CIC to inquire about their application. Is this correct or is this just a mere coincidence?

Hi All

Finally, PR approved today and COPR with numbers are in the CIC account.

AOR May 23
Eligibility March 20
Medicals July 15
Bio exempt
Background check March 14
Criminality and Security were in progress forever since July 2020.
Final Decision March 20

Thanks @legalfalcon

Good luck everyone!!
Congratulations! Is your local office Etobicoke?

I called them yesterday, All passed, the file was at Ottawa yesterday. I think the Ottawa office issued the COPR? Not sure!

I just checked and my application is now showing as approved!! I was told the final decision had been made on March 15th by the agent on the phone, so it took 5 days for the approval to show in my account.
I can see the COPR document number but no actual document just yet.
AOR May 25th, CEC inland. Will post my full timeline once I get the COPR!

Congrats!! Do you have the COPR document in the messages, or can you just see the document number?
