I applied through my lawyer so does that mean they will get the call from service Canada first ?

on the website version of their notification about the restart of biometrics, it says if you have a representative they'll be who is called. Then they are supposed to get in touch with you to get your perspective. Then service canada will call them a second time to hear what you said and confirm.

Aor May 05 2020 (yorkton ,Saskatchewan )got a call for biometrics appointment today and booked for Friday ..!
interesting that two calls we've heard about are both from saskatchewan! No surprise that a more recent AOR got a call from there, they're working through the backlog for each location so we won't see all the AOR's called serially across the country. The backlog will clear at different rates in different locations.

I wonder if they picked a few locations to try it out with first? Or maybe some of the busier locations have less availability for working on their biometrics backlog versus the other services they need to provide from their location.

Same here
My AOR was May 10th
Medicals pass july 02
BIL july 02
I called cic they told me i passed everything just waiting for biometrics
Same. AOR 12 May
BIL july 02

But I guess they are opening small cities SC first where there r less people

Hey folks
Service Canada phone number is private, so make sure your phone is not set up to block private numbers.
