May 2019 TRV Timelines

Hi, I just want to ask if anyone here applied for a TRV in Ireland? Im currently employed in Ireland and applied for a Visitor Visa for a summer vacation, 1 week maximum. Online applicantion sent 30th of May and got the Biometrics request on the 31st. I did my biometrics on June 7 and my online account has been updated after 3 days with the details of the Biometrics.

There has been no changes since and the expexcted processing time the same day I applied was 24 days. Its been almost a month.

Any ideas why? Or what could probably be the reason? Thank you

I just checked and apparently Ireland's processing time has raised since you applied. Its currently at 59 days. Which means there has been an influx of applications since you applied. You will have to wait a little longer than you expected.

Hi, thank you for your input. Amazingly I just received the Passport request and Correspondence Letter today at around 3pm here in Ireland.

Timeline of my online application (Ireland)
MAY 30 : Online application submitted
MAY 31 : BIOMETRICS request received
JUNE 7 : BIOMETRICS done in Vfs Dublin
JULY 9 : Passport request and Correspondence Letter.

It was a bit of a long wait but nonetheless thanks God it was approved.

I applied for trv on 24th April from inside Canada . My visa get approved today. When can I expect my passport back?

May i know u in which process u applied TRV inside canada..i am in canada visit now i would like do open work permit..so i need ur advice and wanted to know u changed it from cisit to work or visit to visit

I am in Canada, and I applied for my mom and dad's Temporary Visit Visa in the Philippines.
God is really good that we we're able to have a positive result in just 8 days. ( Online application waiting time is 14 days for Philippines,and it will start after you submit your requested biometrics)

APPLICATION: Online
DATE SUBMITTED ONLINE: July 30, 2019
DATE REQUEST BIOMETRICS: July 31,2019
DATE SUBMITTED BIOMETRICS: August 5, 2019- VFS Manila
DATE UPDATED ONLINE : August 5, 2019
DATE RECEIVED CORRESPONDENCE LETTER: August 13,2019.
DATE OF PASSPORT REQUEST: August 13,2019 ( 2 hours after receiving correspondence letter)
DATE PPR SUBMIT TO VFS: August 16,2019

Approval: 15 August
Passport sent out from embassy: 18 August
Overall only 7 working days for the whole approval process (as there were Eid holidays and the embassy was shut for some days).

Indian, no I haven't. However I'm guessing the fact I have a US visa sped it up?

Yes, most likely your application was processed under Can+ quick approval.

Few days after contacting the deputy office, my husband got the request for passport. He got the visa the same week, around July 10 I think. The application was submitted may 19. He was refused first visa (we were not married yet) and this time, visa was accepted. He only have visitor visa in the country where he was and we have a kid (June 2019).

He was supposed to get a job but they haven’t replied or declined so now we want to apply for pr through sponsorship so he can get owp. Anyone has applied for sponsorship for applicant that has only trv?

What kind of sponsorship?
How can he apply OWP on base of TRV but he can apply trv on base of OWP.
He need to find job and apply closed Work permit.
Tourist Visa only for travel. ask him to get someone with offer of LAMIA.

TRV for what I know is not allowed to work in Canada. It's just a Visit Visa. If you want to him to get a work should look for LMIA to get a job here in Canada.It's a Different thing. If you want to apply him as a PR it's a different process too
