hello,
i am an american citizen and my common law husband and our daughter are both canadian citizens. we live in mexico and have completed medical and submitted our request for police certificate to the embassy of canada in mexico city. however, since we have sent the paperwork off we have heard nothing - a total stall. anyone else have similar circumstances/experiences to compare with? no biometrics request, no file transfer - nothing since the request for police certificate. every other US applicant around my AOR time has gotten everything already. is it because the certificate takes so long to receive and they're waiting for that to be submitted before sending me the biometrics request?

You don't have to pay Biometric fee necessarily with application though. They will ask to pay fee later if his paperwork would be okay.It seems my brother who applied for his wife (lives in Australia) back in May 5th forgot to pay biometrics fee, he hasn't received AOR yet as per my previous post, waiting to I guess receive the paperwork back
We don't usually have baptism certificate in India. I don't understand why they are asking this.Hi
I get email today from cic mississauga asking -
If a birth is registered late, include the original baptism certificate and other original
documents establishing identity such as: Old school records (Fifth class, Middle standard and
Matriculation/secondary school certificate).
And they also highlighted this is a FINAL REMINDER.
Why they are asking this even i provided school 10th certificate and birth certificate?
Is it normal ... little worried ...

Just brig your photo when you do your medical, they will be the one to paste it.
Actually i didnt have the chance to link my application to GCkey, i usually check update only in ECAS. After passing my biometric no update since but after my medical, ecas posted they receive my medical 2 days after.
they do ask for birth certificate translated in english if the original is in other language plus matric certificate as well
When I sent the application for my husband I didn't pay for biometrics. They requested that 2 weeks ago and I just paid. So don't worry about it.
I got an email saying i have a letter waiting on GCkey. They were requesting biometrics for my hubby. HE has his appointment this coming Wednesday for biometrics.
Hello how we know that biometric is done? In gckey any update for biometric? Because in my gckey only so that enrolment number on this date but other side is like we don’t required at this time if is change give us message. So how to know biometric is pass...

Are you sure whether photo is mandatory to paste in that space in medical letter even for eMedical. Please give comments who has already completed their medical exam.
