Right of Permanent Residence Fee (RPRF)
The Right of Permanent Residence Fee is applicable to your application. If you have chosen to defer
payment of that fee, you will be contacted to make the payment at a later date. Your family
member(s) cannot become a permanent resident of Canada until this payment is made.
It is strongly recommended that you pay this fee as soon as possible. By doing so, the processing
time of your application may be reduced. For further information on how to pay this fee, please visit
the CIC website at www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/fees/index.asp?.
IMPORTANT: Passport(s) for your sponsored family member(s) must be valid for the duration of their
stay in Canada.
When should I contact IRCC?
You must also notify IRCC of any changes to your application. Examples of changes include:
 Change in status in Canada: you must submit a written statement to this office and include
evidence to indicate the status in Canada of all persons listed in your Application for
Permanent Residence;
 Changes in the personal circumstances of the person you are sponsoring and his/her
dependant(s), if any, including change in status in Canada, birth or adoption of a child, death
of a family member, a marriage or a divorce;
 For changes in status in Canada: you must submit a written statement to this office and
include evidence to indicate the status in Canada of the person you are sponsoring,
and that of their dependant(s), if any.
 If you have a child, you must specify whether or not he/she is to be added to this
application. If that child is a Canadian citizen or permanent resident, please provide a
copy of their document which details his/her status in

Just got 3 messages today! One for sponsor approval and another one for PA approval. Shortly after got another one saying that my application was completed and that I will be contacted soon to finalize it.

So I guess this is SA, AIP and DM?

Do they call or send an email for the landing interview appointment?

I have a question, is it only the person who will be receiving the PR who is able to view or link application for status updates or can the sponsor do so as well in their name?

I think it doesn't really matter, in the end you are just linking the application number to an account, they don't really do any checks to see who is linking it. Any or both can access the account I guess.

how long after you did your medical exam did your account show "your action is required" and do you know how long it took them to pass you?

I received an email that action required on oct 8 then i did my medical on 9th then 18th they said i passed the medical.

I have the same application sent date as you and I also received both SA and PA approval today. In my PA approval email, it stated that "they are pleased to advise that the processing of your application has been completed. They will contact me to arrange an appointment for the finalization of the PR application"

Is that considered as DM?

In both SA and PA email also mentioned about the right of PR fee of $490. I already paid this amount at the very beginning. I guess I can just ignore that part and they should be able to check that I have paid. anyone of you doing the same?
