May 2019 Citizenship Application

Received invitation for the test via email test was last year Dec 7. Now ECAS shows letter was sent January 13, 2020 for oath taking ceremony in February. However did not receive any email, nothing on spam as well. Is it maybe because the letter was sent on the mail?

Oh yeah, i got my invitation for Oath as well!!!!
Like others, it was updated on ECAS only, I haven't got an email or a letter mail.
Notice sent on Jan 13 and Oath on Feb 5. Woohoo, so happy!

update, so I found the letter by mail when I got home from work.
I thought it’s going to be a special event or something to be held in Toronto, but no Feb 5 is a Wednesday, just a regular ceremony in Scarborough.

I think this will be my last post in this forum, 12 years and finally a citizen

I gave my test on Dec 12th, Scarborough, on Dec 13th status changed to Decision Made.
But no oath yet.
I also do not see the 5th point as DECISION MADE, is this normal?

Citizenship

1. We received your application for Canadian citizenship (grant of citizenship) on May 1, 2019.
2. We sent you correspondence acknowledging receipt of your application(s), and a study book called Discover Canada on July 17, 2019.
3. We started processing your application on September 11, 2019.
4. We sent you a notice on November 22, 2019 to appear and write the citizenship test on December 12, 2019 at 4:00 PM. The notice you will receive by mail will be your official confirmation of your appointment. If you have not received this notice prior to the date of your scheduled appointment, please contact us.

NO OATH UPDATE online too ... and the wait is going on.

@Vijay_Kumar dont worry , i am in the same boat as yours , you atleast got your test invite timely , i only got it in Jan 2020 just completed it last week with 20/20 . interestingly at Scarb office , couple of folks were called for oath the next day , when i discussed if they had any urgent processing , those folks said actually they were normal applicants who had applied only in june / july . funny how processing and scheduling works , no uniformity no process seems like a lottery more than an actual process

@Vijay_Kumar to further elaborate , you wont get the decision made bullet on your list of bulets , but when the oath gets scehduled you get the bullet number 5 which says about the oath date and time

Test was fairly easy. Used citizenshipcounts website and 2 android apps.
