How exciting!!
Now we just hope the test date or oath date won't clash with our vacation in early November.
I was told if that's the case we can ask CIC to move the date. I hope that's true and won't delay the whole process too much.

Hi,
Can someone update the spreadsheet for me pls:
IP as of Sept 12th
(They didn’t send me an email/letter to confirm this though only saw it by logging on to the online tracking).

Also fingerprints requested Sept 19th for my spouse but not me. Hope that doesn’t delay things too much but he got them done and sent off to ICCRC on 23rd September.

I called the contact center and the agent said that because it’s election year (October election), there is a huge pile of backlog of older applications that they are pressured to clear..so obviously newest app are not the main concern here.

in my case he said that he cannot imagine test being sent out prior to dec (he said from dec to march).. so anyone from may app , unfortunately sounds like we applied wrong timing (unless you are maybe one of the lucky one, who will still get the application processed fast!)

Hi, just to clarify: did the agent say it's unlikely a test invite would be sent out prior to December, or prior to March 2020?
Election years are always tricky.

I am finally In process!

1. We received your application for Canadian citizenship (grant of citizenship) on May 16, 2019.
2. We sent you correspondence acknowledging receipt of your application(s), and a study book called Discover Canada on August 8, 2019.
3. We started processing your application on September 24, 2019.

I believe I will be under Scarborough office.. anyone knows if they are good with timing?
