Do not believe in any of the CIC’ s working. They’re out there to lie through the teeth. Good for nothing department with no accountability.

My thought too because according to the ATIP the last time my application updated was June 11 when my file arrived at Scarborough office. So I am confused with the agent statement that all the background is completed and my file is being processed pretty fast.

Quick question guys. I obtained ATIP and it says Location: Registry and Security clearance is blank. However, I called the call center and the lady I spoke to was like wow! your application processed pretty fast as all background check is complete. Here is the question, if my application is being processed as urgent as I requested and all background check is completed why haven't I received a test invite yet? I was thinking maybe she just said that to make me feel better (delusional) LOL. Also the location: registry feels like no one is processing my application I could be wrong though. Anyone has any Idea of what is going on with my application? Thanks guys
Hi Kaypumpin,

I got the same answer and obtained ATIP and its the same. All my background checks were completed and according to call centre they just need to schedule me for the test!!! Not sure what's happening here...

Quick question.

Will test invite be sent via email or letter mail?
Or it'll be just a ecas status change (like from "Application Received" to "In Process")?

Thanks.

(Just looked at the spreadsheet. It seems no test invite was sent since end of Sep. I hope it's gonna pick up after election)

Test invitations should arrive by letter mail.

it depends on what method of communication you choose... it will be the same method as your AOR. I received my test invitation this evening via email.

A quick question, where are Burlington or Hamilton applications processed? Hamilton or Mississauga office? Is there any office in Mississauga?

Is ATIP free or cost 5$? How long did you wait for it? I am confused..

Burlington and Hamilton applications are processed in Hamilton. There is a CIC office 2 mins away from where i live. Hamilton seems to be very slow these days.

Interesting, I read from their website the following:

Application In Process
Your file has been sent to the Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) office closest to your home for processing.

Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada officials will complete the necessary steps to make a decision on your application. If additional information or documents are needed, you will be contacted.

If you are between the ages of 18 and 54, you will have to meet the knowledge and language requirements for citizenship. The citizenship test will determine if you meet the knowledge requirements for citizenship. You will be notified by mail about the time and place of your test. Adult applicants who are 65 years old or older are not required to take the citizenship test.

An interview with a citizenship officer or citizenship judge may also be required. Should this be necessary, you will be notified by mail about the time and place of your interview.

Email (electronic mail) is also mail (just in digital format)
If it is said you will be notified by mail that means you you will be notified by mail digital or paper, depends on your preference in your application.

I thought those questions are appropriate if you are at least 80 y.o. and you don't know what is internet.
