Hello guys, this is such an amazing forum
My AOR is May 9th, will max out my 6 months timeline couple of days from now. Raised a CSE 3 weeks back on status update.

Eligibilty is MET
Security and criminality not initiated.
VO is Ottawa.

I am a bit worried as it seems applicants with Eligibility Met, before criminality/security is initiated usually have to wait a very long time for PPR.
Really worried.
Where did you get the info like "Eligibility Met, before criminality/security is initiated usually have to wait a very long time for PPR."

Eligibility is usually the most complicated/long process step in PR but you met.

Criminality is base on your police certificate
Security is base on where you come from, travel history and organization (some people is fast and some people take 1 year on this)

if you have a clean background and good citizen...i think your criminality and security will take a very short time once they initiated.

there was a case like people passed both of them in a few hours.

All visa refusals should be informed to IRCC. If you inadvertently missed informing earlier, you should inform as soon as you find out that you missed informing IRCC.

In many cases IRCC has considered not informing them of prior visa refusals as misrepresentation. So to be on the safe side, make sure you do now via CSE.
Thanks. Response is appreciated. I went ahead and sent a webform last night.

it's okay, thousands of people remain the same status for more than 2 months and they get PPR in last week of 6 months or 7-8 months max

Hi guys, I'm CEC inland May 20th applicant. I would like to ask you guys about GCKey. I need to renew my work permit, but I'd like to do it through a lawyer. I don't want to give the lawyer access to my current PR application. Is it something normal to have more than one GCKey account? Or all my applications have to be in one account?
I would appreciate it if anyone could share some knowledge.
Hope we all get our PR soon :)

Hi Every one.
I was silent observer since a month & now decided to join. Pls bear with me for my log details as below.

- ITA 19-Apr-2019
- Medical (Upfront).29-Apr-2019
- AOR 08-May-2019
- ADR 28 Jun (Schedule A: A separate and newly completed Schedule A Background Declaration form (IMM 5669), submitted on 30 Jun.
- ADR 09 Jul (Schedule A: A separate and newly completed Schedule A Background Declaration form (IMM 5669), submitted on 11 Jul.

- ADR 09 Jul for Bio metrics request & PCC (Iraq):
- I went to local Iraq consulate in Islamabad, they took the fee (23 USD) & filled the form where they mentioned it might take up to 120 days where cic gave only 60 days limit. Then some how I managed to go myself to North Iraq (where i stayed) to get the PCC.
- Bio metrics done 16th Jul
Submitted PCC (Iraq) on 30 Jul and I submitted another PCC (Oman) which they didn't ask. I stayed in Saudi too but they don't require PCC from there. I also provided the PCC for Pakistan (Islamabad) on 8th May while submitting all docs. after ITA.

After 30th Jul there is no update.

Current status:
We are reviewing the addition documents you provided.
We are processing your background check. we wills end you a message if we need more information.

It's in IP-2 but taking forever.

My questions are as below. Appreciate your expert feed back.
1- Is it normal to request the background form twice?
2- Is it normal to take so long ( 48 days) after submitting the PCC & still status is not changed for additional documents.

Cheers.

Hi All,
Joined the form back after a month.
I'm PNP (EE) candidate & applied through a middle man. Contacted him & he says that there is no update. He is not sharing the screen shot of the account. I'm totally blind.

My 6 months time line will finish on 9th Nov.
Please guide what should i do. Call IRCC or ask the agent to raise the webform.

Cheers.

Please also add me in teh whatsapp group. My contact is

Hello folk,

Yes, there was a case of SithLord from the November 2018 AOR thread. His Eligibility was recommended passed but after 4 months in this status his application was refused. He got rejected after 9 months of waiting. It’s pretty rare but happens from time to time

Hello to all !!!

I’m writing this on behalf of my sister-in-law.

Are you guys ready to listen a real dramatic experience from introduction of Express Entry System to PPR:-

So, here I go...

I came to know about this Express Entry system back in 2016.. My parents and a sibling are Canadian Citizens... So I have chosen this path.. but it was a tough pass for me.. my husband was unable to sit in ielts due to some health issues.. so I started preparing myself along with tough job schedule and husband’s health issues... I took this exam for 13 times from November 2016 to November 2018... here are the details :-

L R W S

  1. 7 8 7 6.5
  2. 8 7 6.5 7
  3. 9 9 7 6.5
  4. 9 8.5 7 6.5
  5. 9 8 6.5 7.5
  6. 9 6.5 7 7
  7. 8 6.5 7 7
  8. 6.5 9 8 8
  9. 9 9 6.5 7
  10. 8.5 8.5 7.5 6.5
  11. 8 7 6.5 6
  12. 8.5 8.5 6.5 6.5
  13. 8 7 7 7
In those attempts I applied for rechecking of IELTS for 5 times, there was no change in score in 4 times but in my 13th attempt my actual score was 8 7 6.5 7 and after rechecking my 6.5 was increased by .5 and I got 8 7 7 7 finally....

After successfully cleared IELTS.. another hurdle came into my way was the CRS. I applied with my spouse and my CRS was 437 but the draw touches 438 and it started rising in Feb 2019... Then my consultant suggested me to apply non-accompanying and I did the same. In non-accompanying my CRS lifted up to 453 and I got AOR on May 18th, 2019.

My timeline :-

AOR 18.05.2019

MEP 28.06.2019

BIL 06.07.2019

Not sure about G updates, VO, never raised any web form, no gcms, no email...

PPR 26.10.2019

Country India

FSW O

One more incident happened in life during this time... it was my father’s death on 17th March 2019 in Canada so I attended his last rituals in Canada on tourist visa. I got ITA email on 18th March 2019 just after one day of his death and it was his dream... so I have only one foreign trip and that is for 10 days on my dad’s funeral... Apart from this, I also had 4 Tourist Visa refusals of Canada during 2011-2018 due to which I was unable to met my father from so many years...

I am thankful to all of you for your support, guidance and experiences shared in this group...
