I was wondering if there are a lot of folks waiting for their PR if they are Indian citizens and living & working in a different country. Does that make their profile a little bit complex than someone living and applying from their Home country?

My 6 months completed in 8th Nov and no updates. Raised a web form and was told its still in process.

I honestly don't think that's the case. I'm currently living and working in Canada and still have not gotten the PPR e-mail. My estimated completion date was 3 days ago (17th of November) and haven't gotten any updates since I passed my medical on the 28th of June. I have also seen MULTIPLE people on this thread AND other threads who are living and working outside the country and have gotten their PPRs before their estimated completion date, so I'm not really sure how their processing system works, and/or whether they prioritize certain applications, etc.

Indian Citizen living and working in the US. I honestly thought my application would be fairly easy to process as I studied in the US and live in Seattle and visit Vancouver on a regular basis so have a perpetual Canadian tourist visa. But I completed my 6 months on Nov 14th and have no new update so obviously that isn't the case. I know of people who live and work in Canada and haven't got their PPR in 6 months either. Anyways - there could be any number of reasons your application is delayed including volume, which visa office is processing your application, your travel history etc etc. I don't think we will ever know the specific reason. All we can do is wait.
I agree, there could be multiple reason for the delay and we can only wait. Hopefully it’s done rather quickly though.

Dude you need to chill. You aren't even past your deadline yet and if you've noticed most people get ppr after going past their deadline.

I didn't get my ppr till Nov 19th and my deadline ended Nov 2nd. Just relax and it'll come most likely within 10 days of crossing your deadline.
I got a ghost update on my 180th day. ppr coming?

Hello
My AOR is May 19. FSW-O applicant. My medicals had cleared in June. My six months were completed on November 19. However today I get a message on my account, two forms one for me and one for my spouse, asking me to do my medicals again. Payment of these medicals is my responsibility. I don’t understand, my medicals were cleared in June already. Does this mean my background-security have not even started? I had raised a webform on 19 to enquire about the status,...

When did you undergo your medicals?

November last year... I think it must have been a year since I completed them.
There you go. The medicals are valid only for a year, its for sure that you wont be able to land before expiry of your medicals. The validity has nothing to do with when IRCC marked you as medicals passed. So they have asked you to undergo medical exam again which in fact is a good sign. Your application is nearing completion. Best luck!!

It’s actually October 30, 2018. We had actually applied from US initially as a common law partner. However I did not submit one document and my application was cancelled as incomplete. We were married until then, so I applied again as a married couple with my spouse as dependent. Our medicals were valid at time of submission, and I read in many forums that the authorities do not make you take the exam again....

So your medicals have already expired and in no way can you be issued CoPR without it. So either IRCC may extend it by few months or ask for fresh medical reports ( your case). This is not true - authorities do not make you take the exam again. In many cases they do ask, as in your case.
