So according to GCKEY, our background started on July 27 but received the file transfer to NDVO email on Aug 3. And on Aug 21, the process started on ECAS....after that nothing has come

May 23rd applicant. Got medical Request/ SA on June 23rd.
Med passed July 2nd, file transferred NDVO in mid July.
Nothing happened on ECAS and GC since July. Any idea if its really going to be 10 months wait

hey there can you confirm if your background check states in progress?

My background status is "in process" since end of July.
Should it change to "in progress" ?
Its weird that i cannot be sure if someone is actually working on my file.

I would suggest to call in to CIC to see where they are as online as it really seems they do not update online accounts, also check both principal applicant and sponsor emails in case if they requested any additional documentation.
we received PPR today and CIC is still not updated.
