Is it the issue really with the Montreal office? It seems odd that many people in the same situation happen to be from Montreal, but I actually don't know where our application currently is at this stage (I would assume it would only be transferred to Montreal after DM on both sides, no?).
Any hints of why this is happening? I'm not even sure at this point if we are getting DM on PA side or going directly to the landing letter...

Any updates on your side? There are only 19 days of processing time left and still no DM on the applicant's side. Nothing new since DM for the sponsor on Jan 24th 2019

I called today and asked about the status of my application. They sent a request to the Mississauga office to check why it is taking so long. I’m supposed to give them 30 days to reply to the request and if they don’t contact me by then I call back. Will keep you updated

I asked today, mine is still in the Mississauga office so maybe you’re right it gets transferred to Montreal after DM on both sides. Let’s hope it doesn’t take much longer.

All you Quebec applicants might find this post interesting. I am a July applicant and my file is being processed in Mississauga.

I received my GMCS notes today and the agent review my file left this note:

Does anyone here know what this is about? I feel like this probably has to do with the reason why Quebec applications take longer. Does anyone know if there is a cap on the number of spousal sponsorship applications IRCC can approve for those that come from Quebec? If so, how many applications is it?

No, same situation as you :-( Nothing new since AIP, SA and DM on sponsor side in January.

Interesting, that could explain why we're stuck in this step. I tought the Quebec side of the process was over after the CSQ was issued
