I never got an email for either. Only got a email for sponsor and my approval then a week later got the landing interview.

My Application was received on May 8th, 2018.
Today we got a letter saying "Sponsor Eligibility passed", I have passed my medical but it still shows as "In Progress for eligibility requirement" and "Background check". I applied under common-law inland we are getting married in July but my WP expires on June. I am very worried. Can someone please tell me what's the next step? Much appreciated!

They requested that from me too. You need to have a passport with an expired date longer than 6 months
In my case my old one expired in last January/19 so in November/18 I had to sent a copy of a new one
Woke up this morning with Decision Made on both sides on ECAS. I have a representative so I can’t access GcKey. My application was received on May 25 and the office is Mississauga. And I’m not American neither British.
My question is what’s next? I have no clue. Thank you!!

Update- Feb 15 I recieved a letter that i passed the eligibility. What should i expect next?
