My husband took the oath yesterday and became a Canadian. There was about 94 people in total taking the oath. It was an nice ceremony, emotional even knowing how long it took to reach that day. It was exactly 13 months from the day we mailed his application. Now begins his next step. Applying for a passport.

Sydney office now has a dates August 27th-29, hope dates come through very quickly now

Mine was transferred from Scarborough to Mississauga. My interpretation is that they are die-hard volleyball fans and flip files across when it gets dusty. That helps to keep the file fresh
