This is going to sound weird guys .. just an observation !
So, I read in two occasions that two members in this forum called to ask about the oath letter and the officer said that it’s on the way and they received it the same day .
Now I called last Friday and I received the oath letter the same day ...
I asked a friend to call today because she did the test in November and she received the oath letter today ...
a coincidence ? I started to think: I don’t think so ! Any thoughts

well thats really weird, I called multiple times and all i got is, we are still processing those who applied earlier.

yep they just arranged oath for those applied in Feb 2018
so we applied in May 2018, meaning we will do oath around June
Iam December applicant 2017
Test done November 2018
5 months over from test date and 15 months from my application date and no Oath invitation letter yet
???!!!

A OK - all the cases I mentioned are in Montreal so May be true for Montreal only :) ... anyway all the best, I wish you will get it very soon ...good luck
I got DM in Jan, and still waiting for oath.

So the post saying that after calling cic, the oath invite will come, is not true. As i called many times already
I am waiting for Oath invitation since 6 November 5 months passed not received any thing
I hope we all receive our oath very soon looks like Montréal is very slow

The problem of CIC is that its processing is not transparent and not in first come first serve basis.
We all know that toronto and mtl have the highest immigrant population, and yet there is not enough officers dealing with the applications. Unlike US, they put the processing timeline in public (when submitted, processed by when). I am not comparing how many year it takes get the greencard in US vs Can, I am just saying the process in CIC is less efficient than US.
