To my surprise, we received the ATIP early. (It was requested Jan. 8) I wasn't expecting it until next week.

-Shows only Prohibition as "Not Started" everything else is "Passed". I take it this the longest of the background checks.

Just to give a quick update, I received my letter for the oath letter today by mail dated from January 24th
Oath date is Feb 11th
Also I live in downtown Toronto but I did my test in Scarborough.

Does anyone know if CIC calling center have a record of call log of individuals asking for the status of their application and if that has a bearing on rising scrutiny on one's citizenship application ?

Yes, they have record of all calls. If you order GCMS notes of your file, you can see all those records on your file. But it does not impact the assessment in anyway.

There is no next steps, this is the last step

We finally go through yesterday and the lady wouldn't tell us what was holding it up. All she said is "There is no event scheduled until the case processing officer makes a decision on the file, and it is still being worked on. They have until May to complete everything, so be patient."

We also requested GCMS notes a few weeks back so, if no dm by next week, we should hopefully have an idea of what's missing.

Also our colleague who did the test in December, go her oath today (for March).

Any Mississauga Applicants received their test dates recently ? I applied on may 28th and still waiting. Here people are getting oath invites and I am still waiting for test invite.

i spoke to the cic rep today after wating patiently 25 min...they said everything is in process..we need to waiting patiently..since i filed my file on 29 May 2018 i should get all the process done before June 2019..thats the time line..presently.
just have to wait n watch.

I applied on same dates as you have and heard nothing until now....the status just shows on CIC website as "In Process".

Would you recommend calling CIC?

If you check the data on sheets, and also the tabs - Location by Month & Location Annual-ON & AB, it shows Feb 2018 applicants from Mississauga have started getting test invites, so looks like we have to wait for another 2 months at least

Many congrats..... when did u wrote ur test?? And and when u submit ur citizenship Application??
