Question for people who've received their Oath emails.
What email id do they send the oath invitation from? I received my AOR letter and Test Invitation Letter from 2 different id's.
Thanks!

AOR is generated from Sydney office and test invitation and oath invitation comes from your local office that’s why there are two different email addresses and also I believe oath invitation letter will come through the same email address as test invitation

Hi everyone,
Just finished the test in Scarborough town center (19/20)
The test was easy but I would suggest to study using these websites:

1-https://www.apnatoronto.com/canadian-citizenship-test-practice/
2-http://www.yourlibrary.ca/citizenship/

They were extremely useful in remembering the important concepts that are in the discovery book
I will recommend to read the book one chapter at the time, then test your knowledge using the 1st link
When you are donne, do all the questions (140) from the Richmond library website 2nd link

Is any document not in English language should be attested by a notary public after translation?

I have an update!

I called CIC again and this time I got an angel at the phone.... (i called many time and they always say just to wait and nothing wrong with the name...)

I asked again about my name still showing wrong in the ECAs, even if I submitted a request to correct on August 16th. He took a while investigating, and he said: i have the short version, and the long version, which one you wanna hear? I said, the short!

He said I would have to submit again the LEGAL NAME CHANGE process. I said made no sense, that I hired a lawyer and did that years ago, that's why I have my PR in my hands with my divorced name.....

He said that unfortunatelly the officer that took my case in Surrey, BC, refused the request to correct my name. Even that I did this process already for the PR, that he would not revise, the citzenship department recognizes my legal name at the moment of my landing, and if I landed with married name, that's the name he considered.

The agent on the phone appologized and said himself that made no sense, but unfortanetely if I want my problem fixed I would have to do this again.

I just reached my lawyer, and I am in shock, my lawyer said happens often, so my advise for everyone is: don't change your name if you get married after the landing, don't change your name after you get divorced after the landing, because you can have a lot of headache!!

I am not sure if I was added to the spreadsheet before, in case I was and you would appreciate an update, My lawyer and I wrote an email reporting my case on January 10th (WEB FORM on CIC), 4 days later I got an reply saying my email would be forwarded to the agent in charge, another 4 days later I received a TEST INVITE for February 13th, and 2 days later an email from the agent in charge asking me to bring all the paperwork of my legal name change to be discussed during the interview after the test.
