Yep, our beautiful small city/ town of Kitchener-Waterloo can't boast of a fast CIC processing center. Well, not complaining anymore - I learned to be patient with CIC processes and that helps!

Small city has small amount of working people, I think that's why processing time is slow. Good for you since you have patient.

Would you mind if I ask when did you applied?

Here's my timeline :)

You are not the only one:).

I had my test on October 29, 2018 and am still in-process while a couple of friends who had theirs after me had gone to decision made.

So, worry not!

Did you try calling cic office and asked what’s progress on your file if you haven’t done so I would say call them tomorrow and ask what’s going on. Also if you have extensive travel history compared to your friend it will take more time to get your criminality background check so in that case have patience you should be getting test date very soon. Also if you get to talk to cic agent don’t forget to ask if your background check is complete and if agent tells you yes everything is complete then you should be fine and wait for the test date

I'm from Winnipeg. Exactly one month after I got decision made, I just got the Oath invitation today for the ceremony on December 18th.

Had my test just now in Edmonton. Passed 19/20 but the person who interviewed me said it might take 4 months to be invited for the ceremony

I think they tell you maximum time to get your oath date but I am pretty sure you will get within 2 to 3 months
