May 2018 - Citizenship Applicants

Hi,

I got my test invite e-mail today and the test date is 18th Oct 2018.

Thank you for updating the sheet.

Since 27 July. I do not think that anyone from Calgary in the May team have got their test dates yet. Hopefully in the next few weeks.

Many Calgary people from April are still waiting on Test Invites. I believe Calgary is little slow. I am from Calgary as well and in process since August 07. Last update was for my finger prints on September 11 which I did the next day itself. No updates since then.

That is not good sign, if people from April haven’t received test date then I should wait till December to hear anything

No, I haven't. I've been careful about that! I can still log on and check my status I also haven't received any email since the AOR email I received on July 3.

I'm hoping the delay is only because the birth registration certificate I sent them is an old style. Ontario sent it to me in 1996 when I began researching my family's genealogy. When the Canadian embassy in San Francisco made the certified copy for me this year, they told me it didn't match anything in their book of acceptable formats. It was however an official document issued by Ontario Office of the Registrar General 22 years ago, so I'm hoping it's just a matter of researching and verifying it.

My citizenship certificate was mailed earlier this week, on October 1. It took three months from when I received my AOR. The delay was probably caused by my only having a birth registration for my father, not his birth certificate, and because I legally changed my first name in California 16 years ago.
 
The tracker sheet's location column , is it my application delivered location or current residence location?
 
Application went In Process on October 4th.
The funny thing is my other application, which was filed almost two months after this one went in process on September 20th.

I was hoping the same too, no test notification yet but I heard that the testing is only done every 6 months in Sydney.. and there was an oath ceremony last week so maybe they did testing too :(
