No such letter has come, unless it was done via regular mail.

Although the agent told me that I was sent the fingerprint request on my email, I received in my mailbox on friday. I completed the request on Saturday and was sent to rcmp digitally.

So we got the letter which requests fingerprints however there is one small concern....

The letter we received came from the Vancouver office, but we live in Calgary. Does this mean the application is being processed there? Also does this also mean that when they invite my husband to do the citizenship test, it will have to be done in Vancouver?

No your file is in Calgary only. The fingerprints are requested by centralized location which is in Vancouver.

The test would happen in Calgary only.

I get in touch with ircc call centre today , inquired about status on my fingerprints
They told me they receive our fingerprints results on 13 th September . And they told me everything is good and your file is with in time frame just wait for next step .
Fingerprints requested 14 August
Done fingerprints . 27 August
Ircc received. Fp. . 13 September

It is not a requirement but majority of them are receiving it these days. I know 9 of my relatives who have applied and all of them have received fingerprint request.

CIC sent me AOR on July 25 and they started processing my application on August 7 2018 I was just wondering how long would it take to get test date and I applied from Calgary, anyone with the insight will be appreciated thank you

Going off past months info, you're looking at around 2 months to receive your test invite. Not many have received it on the spreadsheet for May so far.
