In process August 21. I was not being able to access my ecas as I asked for a name change and the whole thing was in transition from my old name to my new one. After calling ircc line I can now access it.

anyone in K/W?

About the test invite. What i see is not encouraging. A tiny % of applicants from March, Feb have a test invite. I want to think that lot of them don't update but then its 45% in Jan.

it is possible that you accidentally opted yourself out of the online system. Once you have done so you will have to call IRCC for all updates on your application since you wont be able to view the status online again. Hope this is not the mistake you made.

No, I haven't. I've been careful about that! I can still log on and check my status I also haven't received any email since the AOR email I received on July 3.

I'm hoping the delay is only because the birth registration certificate I sent them is an old style. Ontario sent it to me in 1996 when I began researching my family's genealogy. When the Canadian embassy in San Francisco made the certified copy for me this year, they told me it didn't match anything in their book of acceptable formats. It was however an official document issued by Ontario Office of the Registrar General 22 years ago, so I'm hoping it's just a matter of researching and verifying it.

There is an update issue but there is also the test wait time. My neighbour whose details are not entered here and submitted his application on 02 April got an FP request, quickly responded to the FP request and spoke to CIC call centre to check whether the FP results were recieved. They confirmed that it was recieved, everything is in order and his application is in waiting queue for test date allocation. It seems that the test dates are slow to come by not because of processing delays but due to logistics issue with the test centres. I hope that test dates are announced for many applications soon in a big wave.

Thanks for the update jango. Yes can imagine that citizenship application is different than other applications as it has more logistical issues. Besides there was a big wave of applicants (massive jump) last Oct-Dec since the change in eligibility. This must have created a backlog and delay.

Hi,

This is the May 2018 thread- you probably want to connect with other MARCH applicants, since that is when you sent your application.
