I applied my citizenship along with my 4 years old daughter as my wife is not eligible yet. Location is markham and total physically presenece is 1121 days

1. We started processing your application on August 9, 2018.

It feels good to see some movement and hopefully in two months we get the test invite!

Well using the previous data, it seems that 60-66 days is average and around 70-75 days is median. Look at the excel sheet in my signature and then click on the link below to see the timeline.

You can call CIC at 1-888-242-2100. In Canada. Contact the CIC Call Centre at 1-888-242-2100 Monday to Friday, 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Thursdays and Fridays are the least busy days for the Call Centre.

Called IRCC call centre to check my application status as I didn't receive my AOR

Unfortunately, agent confirmed my file isn't in the system and created a ticket with processing centre, asked for Canada Post Tracking# and CIC epayment Receipt#.

This is insane, how could they loose a file ??

Do not worry. They have not lost your file. Your file is entered in the system only when the mailed packet is opened and everything is in order. Your file is probably sitting at the bottom of an agents processing stack who is processing other applications. The service ticket created will hopefully resolve this soon.

i spoke with them and they told me you need to wait for one more month and the call again if you didn't receive the AOR, they are currently dealing with applications received on May 28th 2018

I am quite sure you will recieve your AOR within the next 2 weeks.

OMG same with me. My app delivered on June 4th, right now even June 18th apps got AOR... called IRCC yesterday she said there is no file on my ID. How do you ask them to create a ticket? Is there a way we can find out if they lost my app?

same thats what they told me as well... Do you guys think it is possible some officer will take our apps to their desk...... then went on vacation and left all those apps behind until he/she came back...... somehow I have that feeling.. coz it doesnt make sense why other ppl's app which were delivered 2 weeks later got processed first...????
