They started processing my application on August 1 and it's still in process. I need to travel outside Canada for 2 months so I am wondering if anyone knows what their processing timelines are.
I am a single applicant residing in Toronto so I am not sure what's taking so long. It's soooo frustrating.

Hi, i need some expert's advice here...should I or should I not travel to US in month of December for 10 days... given that my application status is sitting at IN Process since Aug 10th ...i am assuming my application is probably being processed at one of the busiest case processing centers " Mississauga " not only that, i think my BG checks may take little longer than usual timelines due to my extensive travelling history in last couple of years..

Traveling for 10 days should not make a difference on your application.

It's really up to you, as you are only going to be away for 10 days.
You can send a web form advising you are unavailable for test/interview/oath during that time, and hopefully they won't schedule anything that requires your physical presence.
Anything else that comes in the mail, you will see when you return, and have enough time to respond, I think.
