From what i heard it may depend on countries you visited or coming from... If you are U.S. it should be no problem as FBI is super easy to check for Canada. However, other countries are delaying applications because of the criminal/security check.
damn It lol i visit at least 15 countries, and i live in one of them for more than a year

Hello Everyone,
This is my first post and I wanted to let you know that I received passport request yesterday night around 10:30 PM Canadian time. I applied under CEC and submitted all documentation on May 03. Received additional document request on 5th May and submitted additional documentation on May 09. Can someone tell on how much time it takes to get passport back after stamping? I have to urgently travel out of Canada.

But why would it take 3 months for Eligibility to move from 'Recommended Pass' to 'Met'. It is weird.

Can someone please let me know how much time it takes to get back passport ? I am in Canada and sending my passport today.

Shout out to MAY 28 AORs..... please update with your status..

Mine is IP1.... hoping for good news soon

Labour negotiations at Canada's national postal service, Canada Post, may result in processing delays for Canadian immigration applications mailed within Canada.

Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada advises individuals planning to travel to Canada of submitting an application (including a passport or other travel document) to apply early.

The 60-day conciliation period between Canada Post and the Canadian Union of Postal Workers (CUPW) ended on September 5, 2018.

CUPW negotiators are working with Canada Post to arrive at an agreement. If one isn't reached by September 26, the union will be in a legal strike position
