We received the ITA on 14th March 2018, and received AOR on May 23, 2018, after submitting all documents. Initially I did receive updates when my medicals were passed, but since weeks I have not heard anything.

I have checked the others on myimmitracker, and others with same dates have already received their PPRs. I seem to have no update whatsoever.

My application shows the below as of now:


Review of eligibility: We are reviewing whether you meet the eligibility requirements. Help - Review of eligibility
Review of medical results: You passed the medical exam. Help - Review of medical results
Review of additional documents: We do not need additional documents. Help - Review of additional documents
Interview: You do not need an interview. We will send you a message if this changes. Help - Interview
Biometrics: We do not need your fingerprints. We will send you a message if this changes. Help - Biometrics
Background check: Your application is in progress. We will send you a message when we start your background check. Help - Background check
Final decision: Your application is in progress. We will send you a message once the final decision has been made.

Can anyone help here? This is for EE - FSW without PNP.

I am on the same page... AOR May 22nd.. However you are in IP2.. my background check has not even started.. you are in a good stage. Hold tight and enjoy life

Thanks Eedwards92. However, it does say my Background Check has not started yet. You tell me it has. I am losing my hair getting confused here

Can you please let me know how do you know I am in IP2?

On the 100 day anniversary (AOR - 24 May), just got off a call with CIC. Eligibility - Still being reviewed. Background check - in progress. Security - Not started. I don't see any positive news coming my way anytime soon.

just 94 days man. Still 6 more to go for 100 days

One more question people. Which GCMS Notes to get? The Detailed ones, or the basic ones?

Haha. You just got my hopes up for like a second. Everyone thinks only their boat is sinking... truth is ours is still on the shore. I will update when I hear anything. Anxiety is getting the better for me now.

One more question people. Which GCMS Notes to get? The Detailed ones, or the basic ones?

If you want to get the electronic notes/comments of the officer only, then go with the basic.

I have an extensive travel history. Could this be a reason for me being stuck in IP1 for so long?

I would suggest order GCMS notes right away...
IP1/IP2 these are user defined terms and are not official IRCC terminologies. MyCIC does not provide a detailed overview what is actualy going on with the application.

Great...Just as a heads up...look for these 3 things once you receive the notes.

My AOR was on May 21. The background check processing stage (IP2 i guess) has begun.
Can anyone help with the general timeline to the next stage/for PPR?
