Hi Folks, delighted to share that I received my 'Prêt pour Visa' mail today.

AOR: May 18
Medicals Passed: May 30
IP 1: May 30
IP 2: August 2
PPR Mail: August 9

FSW-O, from India, single applicant.

The thought of calling IRCC or ordering GCMS never crossed my mind, principally because it just increases anxiety.
Calling incessantly or trying to contact won't make processing any faster.
The process will take its own sweet time, much rather just relax and have faith. Good things happen to those who wait. Just my two bits.
Thank you to this forum. Cheers.
Well said, congratulations

Hi again guys,

I'm AoR 21, May, 2018

1) I had to upload my RCMP fingerprints on July, 3. Does this delay the process or should it be alright and on its way?

2) I applied on Feb, 23 and submitted as said, on May (I was collecting the documents).

Is the process faster if you apply straight up after the invitation? Or will my process be slower because I've exhausted the 3 months to apply?

cheers

Congrats!!! I've applied on May, 21. Trying to imagine something like getting mine in a few days because I've applied few days after yours. But I know things probably dont work like that....

Fingers crossed!

AOR May 22nd and still waiting

Q1. Yes, that's what this forum widely says. Although legalfalcon suggests not to follow this parlance. Also, must be said my canada.ca portal still shows me on IP2 only, no change there.
Q2. Yes, but not 6 months and more, as in not requiring a PCC from another country.

Thank you for your wishes.
Another one, to all the lucky ones who have rcvd. PPR mails :)
- In how much time do we need to submit passport, does PPR mail say ?

A month. Quoting the mail on this - "NOTE: Your passports and photos must be received by the visa office in New Delhi within 30 days of the date of this letter. Failure to comply with this request could result in the refusal of your application. Please include a copy of this letter along with your submission."

There is nothing called as IP2. Your background check can take few weeks to several months depending on your travel history etc.

does it mean that if you have extensive travel history your bgc will take longer? what kind of travel history? holiday also counts?

BTW 99 days since AOR, good number, mark
