Well guys, see my timeline i posted above yesterday. I just woke up to PPR mail this morning. I am still in awe. I can't thank God enough.

Hey Guys, something weird happen to me today regarding updates. I got a request from CIC to Pay my RPRF, however, I paid it already in the initial stages. I created a letter of explanation, attached my receipt and also showed them a break down of the fees in my account. Hopefully that satisfy their request. Patiently waiting.

Very good sign. Your PPR is ready to be issued.

That was last year. This year they are processing application a lot faster from what I see in immigration tracker.
I don't know who you are but you think you're entitled to a quick progress to PPR just because you see others are moving faster? Have patience and wait it out. This year there are more applicants and even more visa offices and yet the IRCC is delivering PPRs way before 6 months in most cases.

From my opinion, RPRF request does not 100% guarantee upcoming PPR. I am saying this because of my friend who has a criminal record back in his hometown got RPRF request after his AOR. A couple of weeks after he paid RPRF, his criminal record check started to be under review and he has been stuck in that stage for a long time now - he was requested for some additional documents related to PCC issue. However, if the person has a clean criminal record, yes, it should be definitely good sign for upcoming PPR. :)

Yes, I've been calling various offices, ottawa, new delhi etc to check my PPR status but they seem to be sleeping on their job. It's been 1 month today since my aor and this delay is unacceptable. They need to hire more workers if they are inundated with applicants. Isn't that why we pay thousands of dollars application fees.

I guess you 're right, if criminal records are clean then its a good sign. For me i just got PPR today few days after the RPRF request.
