You are correct, you need to stay in Canada for three months before you can be covered, My sister is actually going through same situation right now,She is flying to Canada next week and I believe she is going to pay for delivery which is due next month. I do hope you get your PPR and sticker early enough to meet up with this timeline.
Thanks a lot for your response. Much appreciated!

Dear Fellow Immigrants, I have been following this thread for sometime now since I received my ITA on April 25th, 2018 under FSW program(Outland). I am Geographical Information Systems (GIS) Professional (NOC - 2255) with over 8 years of experience with Masters Degree in GIS from USA. I am currently residing in UAE holding citizenship of India. My AOR date is May 10th, 2018. Medical Passed on May 20th, 2018. My profile currently says that - "We are reviewing whether you meet the eligibility requirements".

Today, I finally made my mind to post a message on this thread to say thanks to the active and senior members in this thread who have been replying to queries of other concerned and anxious prospective immigrants.

I understand that the current processing time is 6 months or less for the FSW stream. As per the CIC website, my application is processed in London Office (https://www.canada.ca/en/immigratio...ffices/international-visa-offices/london.html). I have found on multiple threads that the average processing time is more than six months for London Visa Office. I wanted to ask the senior members here, is this accurate?

Thanks for your guidance in advance.

Nice profile Aditya and that too in Dubai very nice.
When you say you know your visa is being processed in London, have you confirmed it with CIC or it’s just the info you researched on the website ?

Nope, that's an incorrect assumption- they may very well still route it to NDVO (New Delhi) which is far sooner than the London VO. All the best.

He is based in Dubai, his closest VO could end being Abu Dhabi, unless because of workload distribution his file has moved to London or another location.

Which is why I suggested that it may also move to NDVO. Abu Dhabi being the 1st choice, as the applicant is based there followed by either London or NDVO (based on his citizenship).
