MAY 2017 Citizenship Applicants

Calgary office here. February applicant.
My application started processing Feb 23rd .. and then I heard NOTHING from them until mid June.
Test date was late July. That's FIVE MONTHS after it started processing.
DM a week after.. and now nothing again.
Some YYC people have been waiting for months after passing the test and are still IP.
A fellow YYC member whose application was received in Sydney on the same day as mine has a VERY different timeline.
YYC moves very slowly for some. And ridiculously quickly for others. March YYC applicants already have their oath dates ahead of all the February applicants. And some April applicants test dates happened before February applicant dates. It just doesn't make sense.. and like someone forgot the February box in the corner.
It's just their system.. or lack there of. I don't think you need to worry, it will happen.... And you can't compare your timelines to other applicants in other offices or even to those within the Calgary office. Hang in there, you are just at the start of the process... and it's a slow information lacking ride!
