Friends, can someone kindly throw some light

1. As to what checks are done by CPC Sydney, and what checks are done by the
local office ?

2. Does Status "In-Process" mean that checks have been completed by
CPC, Sydney and the file has been transferred to Local office for checks
at its end?. I am asking this because 1-2 yrs back (as reported by some
of my known people) there used to be two separate lines which used to appear in online
status (i) that we started processing your file on this day...(ii) File
has been transferred to local office on this day... basically there used to be GAP between when CPC, Sydney started
Processing and when they Transferred.

Not sure how it was 2 years back but right now this is the status they follow.

CPC sydney checks if the forms are completed. It is like reading the preface of the book before diving deep into it.
