Really confused and unable to understand why the Sponsor assessment suddenly increased from 43 to 53 days at a time when the concerned Immigration Minister had already announced/publicized that the family reunion would be speeded up in an unprecedented way....

It seems likely that the number of applications would have spiked after that announcement. A shorter turn-around time is appealing.

And I imagine they get a lot of phone calls that slow things down a little bit. Trying to hold off and hoping we'll hear something soon.

Seems like it took exactly 2 months for you. Was reading some of your previous post. Found out you submitted on may 3rd and received SA on july 4th. I submitted on May 27. Maybe I should just stay calm and wait for another month.

Principal Applicant's information is generally supposed to be in the ecas after AoR1

HI Everyone,

My Stats:
Submitted Application: May 4th
AOR #1: May 20th
SA Approval: June 30th
ECAS: [PA Only]: "Application Recieved"

Question: In the SA Email CIC states: "Application has been forwarded to the VO for processing." They did not state an exact Date as to when the application was forwarded. What is the procedure now? As on ECAS: No information has been updated. Stiil reads: PA: "Application Recieved".

Should we assume that the PA part of the application is now in process, as of the Date i recieved the SA Email: June 30th?
OR...should we WAIT until i recieve an AOR #2 from VO? Does this AOR #2 Email, constitute the most accurate Date as to WHEN the processing actual begins?
