no one did nt requestd ielts copy ,,, they requestd my bank accnt ,credit card ,tenancy lease agriment, leave of canada absence days and entry days since i became pr

Yes, my spouse I'm sponsoring is from S. Korea. (visa-exempt)

I'm just worried that her medical wasn't sent with the application. She's still waiting for an opening to get it done here.
So many Koreans need their medicals for working holidays and other visa applications, so there aren't any certified physicians available until early August.
I think it's gonna delay our application regardless of it being sent to Ottawa.

Is it possible for your wife to get her medicals done in another country but with the panel physicians chosen by CIC?

I'm not sure about that. However, it that would cost a lot to buy a plane ticket and get a medical done in another country.
Luckily, we're not in a big rush because we're planning to land in October this year. They haven't requested the medical yet...

I didn't expect it to be transferred to Ottawa. I thought it'd be sent to Manila and take the estimated 13 months.

Most applicants that are sent to Manila do not take up more than a year. I've seen lots of cases in which the applicants got their visa approximately 6 to 8 months after their application was filed. But you're lucky. Yours was sent to Ottawa. It seems that they're the fastest VO.

I am happy though, that I got approved as a sponsor.

I got a question about my ECAS -

So, I sent my application on 27 may and they received it may 30. I received UCI and Application # on June 17 then I waited about a week to check back my ecas.

All these days I wasn't able to see anything. But today I tried and was able to see "ONLY" my spouse(principal applicant) ecas with the Application number (UCI didnt work for her). So with application # I was able to see these :-

1. We received your application for permanent residence on May 30, 2016.
2. Medical results have been received.

Then I also tried to check my (sponsor) ecas with UCI and also tried with Application number. But I couldn't get any information. It just says "We were not able to identify you using the information you provided. There could be three possible reasons:"

How come I am able to see my spouse ecas but not mine?

Nobody knows why but most applicants have trouble signing-in their UCI to view the sponsor's online status. I can't see mine either.

Some can access the sponsor's account after receiving the SA. But I still can't. No worries though. As long as you're getting correspondence from CIC and you can access the PA's account.

this is normal! not to worry! I applied may 2nd, didn't get AOR but got SA june 3rd. Some time in between I started to be able to access my husbands account (PA) but never mine (Sponsor). Even know, while my file is at the visa office i can only access PA account. When I try to access mine with UCI/Application/receipt number it shows me the same error that you get. i heard you can contact cic through case specific enquiry and tell them that it isn't working. not sure if they will fix it but it looks like there are a lot of people in the same situation. just keep a check on the PA's account to see what is happening with the app. Thats what I did. once in a while i would check to see if mine works, but no luck.

UPDATE:

I called CIC few minutes ago (first time ever, called after 50days) and they said that my file has already passed eligibility an hour ago (lol! ) and I should receive the formal confirmation within the day. So for 1st week of May applicants, I think they are working on our files now.

UPDATE:

I didn't received my SA email and no update in e-cas so I decided to double check one more time (yes, I'm paranoid!) the status of my application. I called CIC this morning and he said that I'm approve as sponsor and in my file, it says that they already sent an email. I told him that I checked my email before calling them. He said, for some reason, sometimes the email doesn't go thru even it shows "sent" on their end. He advise me to call again after few days if I still haven't receive anything. Woohooo!

So for those who are beyond 50days (at least), you can call them and check your status.
