Based on that, your part of the application will most likely be processed in New Delhi after sponsorship approval, but there recently has been one person from New Delhi forwarded to Ottawa, ON, so it's possible.

Any idea about that person you mentioned here? Was that person's spouse in Canada or something? I'm waiting to get SA and my wife is in Canada on closed work permit, just waiting anxiously now!!

If I remember correctly, the person was not in Canada and they weren't expecting it to be forwarded to Ottawa. Sometimes they take current country of residence into consideration, but not always, and they have started forwarding applications around to places like Ottawa disregarding both country of citizenship and residence. There's no way to know for sure until you get your SA.

Good news! Got the letter mailed to my Canadian address that I have been approved for sa! And now file has been sent to Abu Dhabi vo!! Yay! My husband hasn't done medical so it said to do upfront now and send it to vo. Wow just yesterday I called Cic and got no info from them! What a relief!! Can someone add me to the spread sheet. Onwards and upwards people!!

Your suffering in not receiving AOR1 was rewarded by receiving a fast SA

Also anyone know once the pa gets visa once he enters Canada for the first time can he leave for holidays? If so is there a time limit on how long he can be out? Does he have to stay in Canada for a certain amount of time before leaving for holidays?

Yes. He can leave for holidays once he gets his PR card. But it only allows you to exit Canada for 180days. If you exceed, they will remove his PR status here then you have to reapply again.

There's no problem leaving once he entered Canada. He can leave after a month of entering but he needs to have his PR card before leaving.
