Hello everyone,

So, finally after 2 months, I (sponsored for outland spouse) submitted my application on Friday through Canada Xpresspost (tracking - 0382779001006113) . Hopefully package will get there on time and someone will receive the package by Monday. So I am joining with you guys. Medical and all other docs are included within the application package, So, hopefully I don't wait long enough. Fingers crossed.

It has been 25 days since they received my application, and no email til now. Its so fustrating to just keep waiting... at least if you are missing something just let them know asap instead of just delaying the application.

Day 27 for me and no Aor1! Looks like they are working on May 10 applicants. People are saying wait 15-20 days to hear back but online it says the sponsor application could take up to 40 days. Planning to inquire about it after 40 days if I haven't heard back by then! It's frustrating yes! I know the feeling too! Everyone works so hard to get their application in asap to only have people who applied after you get aor1! Hope they work on ours soon!

15-20 days is the approximate time to get AOR1. I agree with you to wait until it pass the 40th day before bugging them.

Some April applicants didn't get AOR1 but when they called the call center after the 40th day, they are already approved as sponsor. For some reason, they miss sending them communication.

You should put your email address in your application because that is the fastest way to communicate with you. But it is okay if you did not put your email address. They will communicate with you through mail or by phone.
