Million dollar question, seems NDVO is in sleep mode... Hope they pick up soon. :(

* We got AOR2 on august 2,2016. App was sent to singapore on July 28. I dont know how we got AOR2 so fast. (or probably PR app was sent earlier but email was sent later to me).

* medical was sent with app and medical result has been passed.

- now review of eligibility for PR is in process.

I recommend you guys link (if you haven't already) your PR app with your account (cic.gc.ca). You will know even more details about PR processing.

Wow! that was incredibly fast to get your AOR2..

We got AOR2 today. ECAS update today as well. States that they started processing PA's side on August 2. Hope Manila will have speedy process.

AOR2 for us takes upto 3 months.. per the timeline posted by others..

We were told that we should be getting the AOR2 a couple of weeks after our App was sent to MCVO. Things are moving much faster now than they were in the past. Not sure if you're up to date with all the changes made by Justin Trudeau (Canada's Prime Minister).
We received our AOR1 very fast & our SA would have been received faster had it not being for the one document requested prior to approving the sponsorship. It only took a few days after the document was received for our SA......

Singapore regularly sends AOR2 email within a week of receiving the file.

Mine took 10 days.

Any PAs from May whose VO is Ottawa-CPC see any movement with their app?

FYI - for Ottawa-CPC, I have learned that you do not receive an AOR2. Your SA and AOR2 arrive as 1 thing - in my case, an emailed letter. Just thought I'd share in case anyone didn't know...

Yes I see background check is in progress and eligibility is in progress

Hey everyone. It's been a while since wrote on here. Didn't have much info to share. However things are taking place. I'm happy to see so many people's applications moving and prrs arriving. I'm happy for everyone and gives me encouragement.
So my application was receive may 30. July 26 got the AOR1 and the papers were sent to Bogotá.
Bogotá got them aug 3 and today we received and email stating they wanted receipt of payment of background check, 4 passport photos and copy of marriage certificate. So I will be gathering all that this weekend and sending that to them.

Hi guyz

3rd line added in PA ecas status
They started processing on Aug 1,2016.

Thanks

I phoned CIC this morning who confirmed they did send the SA email July 27 and that my email blocked it (was out of space). Mississauga is going to resend the email asap. They told me over the phone that our application was transferred to Ottawa! I'm hoping that this means the next few steps go fast like other USA applications. We also have a third line on ECAS saying the applicants side started processing July 29. I also checked today on the myCIC thing and it as of today says the background check is in process.

Thanks as always to everyone for their advice.

And already I have a question...

Does anyone know how the passport request stage works? Does it matter what country the applicant is in when they send it? How long does it take? Can CIC return it to any address or only the address listed?

Did you apply outland or inland?

If outland from what country are you going to sponsor your spouse?
