The AOR email was sent from Mississauga. Maybe they all are, though.

yes, all initial AORs are sent from Mississauga since this is where the package is sent and the sponsor's application is processed. Sponsor Approval notification will also come from Mississauga. Mississauga will internally transfer the applicant's application to the appropriate visa office once the sponsor's application is approved. Many visa offices do not send second AORs, and Ottawa is one of those offices that doesn't.

If I remember it right, applicant's side was In Process and a line was added "We received your app..." after SA. When we got AOR2 it added "We started processing..." on applicant's side.

Yes. I did changed already. I checked my husband's MyCIC account, Review of eligibility now says IN PROGRESS. Nothing changed with eCAS though. I guess it is now more reliable to MyCIC account.

It says application recieved before SA.

When SA is approved the PA side will show "In Process"

I did and I am .....but nothing there.....She advised me that if i don't receive it I might call them after a week from JULY27th. She told me It was approved on JULY22nd and file is enroute to VO.

Lets see if i we get a AOR2 anytime soon.

Hi there. I still havent received our SA yet though the officer told us that he will send it. Our ECAs in PA changed and it said that they started processing our application since July 25. Were planning to call CiC by next week for the SA..

Don't bother.

If ECAS shows PA side in process the file has already been transferred.

Sometimes they snail mail SA letter to sponsor.

Wow what a weird system it is,:

- You stated ECAs PA side changed to In Process, but no SA confirmation email

- I got SA email recently but PA side in ECAs is still Application received

And we both are 25 MAY applicants, it looks like our data's are split into different tables in DB and updates to ECAs are made one table a week ;D.....

I am pretty new on this forum. I am a Canadian citizen I applied for my Husband who has been living in NZ on a work permit for about 6 years but is an Indian Citizen. We have requested that the file goes to the Sydney Office and not the NDVO. How do we check my Husbands side of how things are processing? On my login I am still waiting for an SA Approval.

CIC will not consider your request. CIC will send it to the VO they choose, which is most often the country of citizenship.

You're right. Perhaps they use SNAIL mail..my case is different.. It should be the other way around. However ECAS was updated initially and we havent received our SA letter..somewhat, we will be relieved only if we received the SA letter or AOR2..

Thinking on the brighter side, i hope ECAS is a reliable tool in tracking our application.

I just check online status. Yesterday I checked but it was application received on PA side. Today it showing like in process status. What does it mean ?. Is it SA approval ?. I didn't get any email or letter from CIC yet.
