• Please two of my children attend christian school (private school) and they do not have the kind of school record that Ontario has - with photo and date of birth printed. Do I need to submit letter to explain to CIC? Or should I get other form of photo identification (like international passport data page) for the children? The section 4 of the instruction guide reads like
  
  "Two (2) pieces of the child’s personal identification
  
  Both pieces of identification should show your child’s name and date of birth, one of which must have a photo on it.
  
  Examples include:
  
  school record
  health insurance card
  If there is information on both sides of your child’s personal identification documents, provide a photocopy of both sides.
  
  For a child under school age, identification such as:
  
  
  • a passport page containing his or her photo and personal details, or
  • a hospital or immunization record, may be provided"

I have applied on 12th May, 2016, Application received: 16th May, 2016, AOR date: 1st June, 2016...

I am living in Northern Ontario and our application will be processed at Sudbury. I think it will be faster than southern Ontario.
