At last, I am a Canadian!
I had my oath ceremony on February 16 in Ottawa
My timeline is in my signature. My ecas never changed to DM until I received my oath letter.
Best of luck to everyone!

My husband took his test in Scarborough yesterday and scored 20/20! yay!!!

They asked for his Passport, COPR, Drivers license and PR card. He had his original work permit from when he first arrived here which they looked at too.

They said that he should get a letter in approx. 2 months. So now we just wait! Just hope the oath isn't when we are going to be out of province!

Good luck to everyone else waiting!

Its good idea to inform CIC thru registered mail the duration when he would be away from home to avoid any issues later. Best of luck !!!

I did the test on Jan 25th. The ECAS is still shown in process with no further update. Why ECAS is not updated even with the test that I made 1 month ago?

Also, looking for the tracking sheet, I could not come with any pattern between test and Oath date. it is huge variance among individuals. So, I'm unable to predict when my Oath will be?

I was told 2 by the officer, the Oath letter will be sent within 2 weeks which have passed. Any thoughts.

Thanks...

Sherif, what is your local office? It is different from one office to another, also it depends on the officer, some officers update the Ecas, some others never update it.

i got my test invite for 14th march , just did my fingerprint today as well.

Finally my ecas changed this morning ;)

Hamilton office. If the officer is not updating the status in ECAS. Do you thing ATIP would be helpful in order to get the current status?

I have seen it in other threads that Hamilton's timeline for oath after test is few months... And yes, ATIP will show a lot about your application.
