Got Oath letter " sent you a notice on December 17, 2015 to appear and take the oath of citizenship at the citizenship ceremony to be held on January 8, 2016 at 10:30 AM. "

Finally the last step within reach.

Congrats.

Okay it's 10:30 instead of 11:30 and 8:30 instead of 9:30...

Side-note: Ugh can't wait to apply for a passport. Oh wait I need a new picture *sob*

As if... I'm pretty sure they'll schedule my oath in June next year or something. :(

Folks,
Just realized we have 70 people of our may 2015 group after oath or DM. which basically means they are confirmed - or, as canadian slang says- "good to go".

this is great news.
In the past people got AOR after 7-10 months.
So CIC is working ! Ye

What is the fastest completion timeline? 5 mths, or 6 mths or 7 mths. Which office?

Looks like the fastest office is Montreal, 5.-6 months

I don't know why you guys keep saying Montreal office is the fastest !!! I did get a DM yes...but now the wait for an Oath letter can take a while :( :'( only if I am the exception to this rule :'''(

Yes, I'd say you are the point outside the curve. Just bad luck. I'm sorry. I am sure you will get it soon enough. At least you have the releave tho have DM.

Yep, however I've never been the point outside the curve to lottery players or something a such unfortunately...my luck works only when it shouldn't...

Well, at least I am relieved with the DM, I don't mind waiting some time now, I know it's just a matter of weeks / a couple of months.

Dear friends,
Last Monday, we had Oath Ceremony and it was our final step, :D
Wishing you a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year.

Hello,

I received the entry-exit record of movement form the US boarder yesterday. It only shows the entry record but no record for exiting the US which make sense to me as they don't check you out when you cross the boarder. So, I am not sure what was the point in the beginning for CIC to request such a document. What makes me scared is that the US boarder said that my record is partially releasable and that I have the right to appeal such a decision!! I don't know what does exactly mean. Any thoughts ?
