sjakub you are taking care of the spreadsheet, right? do you guys think there are all these people whose files never got into IP? i think they are not updating their status. I noticed all these people who say they have an oath date but their status on the spreadsheet shows AOR. should we be keeping them? if we delete them and it is by error, then it clearly doesn't take long to add themselves back in. or post that they really have not gotten into IP.

I just think it makes the comparisons less realistic.

I met a Catholic nun the other day, she was collecting money for her church, I gave her 20 bucks.

I regret I haven't asked her for a special prayer for the success of the may 2015 applicants

this reminds me the story about a A Rabbi and a Priest from out of town came to visit Toronto, They were sitting in front of a church and they each had charity boxes in front of them to collect money.

The church goers that were passing by couldn't believe the nerve of the rabbi, and purposely threw large sums of money into the priest's charity box to spite the rabbi. Finally one of the passer-by had sympathy on the rabbi, and advised him, "Go to a synagogue and collect there, you'll have more success."

The Rabbi thanked the passer-by, and then turned to the priest and said, "You hear that, Moyshe ; ? This nice gentile, he's trying to teach us how to do business."

Hello everybody, I have been following this forum for a while however I just registered today. I am currently in the process of applying for citizenship. I have (which I believe) a big problem but maybe you guys could put my mind at ease.

I have my citizenship test and interview in 2 days (this Tuesday) and I just realized I lost my PR Card. I have looked and searched for it everywhere, went to stores that I shop at to look for it and I can't find it.

I have sent copies of it with my initial application. Apart from that I HAVE EVERYTHING ELSE (landing docs, passport, driver's licence health-card etc.)

I am stressed beyond anything. Is it going to be a problem? Thanks

Pray to God to have a nice officer. Depends totally on him/her

Have faith, relax, and hope for the best.
Worst case they can ask one more document or two.

That might be a problem, maybe... During the interview tell them you lost it and ask what you should do or better yet call CIC first thing tomorrow. Good luck!!

As with any travel document, the loss should be reported immediately. Report the lost card online to CIC ASAP. There is a weblink that you can use to do this.

If you do not need to travel before you obtain citizenship, there is no need to apply for a new one.
