Haha Ari, very funny ;D And thank you guys!

I guess I went a little faster because my application was simple: single applicant, not much travel (8 or 9 over the years), haven't moved during 4 years, mostly studies etc. Honestly I wasn't expecting it to be this quick. The interviewer told me it'll be a couple of months. I'm actually on a trip right now and now have to change my plan and go home early. So it's bit of a bummer :-/ I guess they don't process applications according the order of the stack, I saw there are a few people DMed before me and still waiting.

Wow! 30 days between test and oath! 20 days between test and oath invitation! Congratulations!!!!

Can you tell us what your e-CAS looks like? IS there a fifth line now?

So the changes went from IP and 4th entry to DM and 4th entry a few days after the interview. And now it stayed DM and added 5th entry: "We sent you a notice on October 20, 2015 to appear and take the oath of citizenship at the citizenship ceremony to be held on November 4, 2015...." The time between Decision Made and 5th entry seems to be varied by cities. In Montreal I saw most people getting it at 2 months, but a few in 1 month and a few in 3, 4 months.

If all cities aren't processing according to the stacking order, I'm sure a lot of other oath dates are coming soon. The whole process was hopeful, exciting and fun to me, and I hope it would be the same to you guys too. Good luck you guys! I'll report back after the oath 8)

Thank you Munchenxx! I'm still not home yet and won't be until the 3rd so I can't tell you if i have a mail waiting for me in the mailbox. But I haven't received any email regarding this yet and I received my test invite via physical mail, so it's very likely it'll be physical mail this time as well. Cheers!

Hi guys,
What is expected from us on the Oath day? Do we have to know the Anthem by heart? Do we have to know the oath by heart?

Take your PR card and the documents listed on your Oath invite. The Oath will have the "Oath text" and Anthem. Even if it is not there they will give you the text once again there so do not worry.

No need to memorize Anthem or Oath. You need to repeat the words that's it. They will check if you are repeating Oath (english and french) but for anthem it is just regular anthem like any end of official ceremony or beginning of the game.

I have to confess... I've been following this forum and ow there are some threads about this CIT 0520.
I'm getting scared sh*@less of this thing. I hope that doesn't happen with us.

I guess you passed the test and you have a Decision Made on your status, right ? If it's so, I guess you have nothing to fear now, you should receive the Oath letter sooner... Congrats :)

Thanks,

This was my experience. I will copy here.

I arrived one hour earlier (downtown Montreal). Waited until the time of my test (9:15am) and a person invited us to form a line with the test invitation letter in hands.
We got into a classroom. We were about 60 people. We listened to the test instructions.
I asked if there would be any changes because of the recent elections and they answered that this current information will not be asked in the test.
When I see the questions I realized I was WAY overly prepared. I really studied a lot and made several quizzes. I finished the test in 10 minutes because I re-checked my answers twice. I am a man who panics a lot. And when I panic, I make stupid mistakes. So I took my sweet time to make sure I made no mistakes.
After that I moved to a different room.

It was a big room with many chairs. Everybody who finishes the test went to that room. In front of that room there were 4 big desks, each with a CO. They would call names and people would go for their interview. Nothing private. Everything very open and clear.
Some people to 1 or 2 minutes. Some people took 10 or 15. I guess it depends on how complicated is your case.

When the CO called me, he asked only for these documents: my Ids, my PR card, my passports and my landing confirmation.
He was very nice all the time. He informed me that I scored 20/20 in the test and congratulated me. He checked my Ids, told me to hold to the landing confirmation for the rest of my life being a Canadian or not and moved to very simples questions. What’s your date of birth? What’s your address? What’s your job? Very politely all the time.
I have two missing stamps on my passport. Never asked. I have a 10 month period unemployed. Never asked.

After I finished he said I should wait between 2 to 4 month for the convocation for the oath. I directly asked if I had passed the interview and he said: “Yes, of course. Yours is a very simple case”.

I thanked him, wished the best and left.

And that’s it. Now we play the waiting game... again.

Cool. I went to check the tracker today and initially I didn't understand the dark blue line until I saw the DM column that had been added. I'm gonna correct my signature, because my DM actually happened on Sept 21st, not the 22nd. My tracker information is now correct(ed), though.
