By the way, isn't this super short notice? I mean... we are already in the end of the month.

Exactly why im getting anxious :s good thing i was able to sort out my work schedule
I got the notice in the mail (nothing on my email) sent by xpresspost from the local VO..
Also it says to stay after the test for an interview which makes me even more anxious lol!!.. I hope nothing will go wrong

You will be fine, I'm sure.

I'm sure they aware that everybody get very nervous in this situation. Just take a deep breath and go get your citizenship.

Finally my case is in process.

1. We received your application for Canadian citizenship (grant of citizenship) on May 25, 2015.

2. We sent you correspondence acknowledging receipt of your application(s) on July 14, 2015.

So how much time does it to from the test date to the Oath taking ceremony?

Nobody knows. Look at the sheets and draw your own conclusions.

Thank you very much, Bigudi for sharing the link -- Super helpful. :) I've read comments and heard from people to focus on reading the book as opposed to doing the challenge tests on app. I am doing both! Feeling anxious already as it is. Hopefully you will hear good news on your own application soon!

Congratz there!
I've been reading a lot about the tests. It doesn't look like HARD per se, but it's not a walk in the park. It's important to memorize names and dates.
The official CIC simulation is way harder than the real test, so you might want to play with it a little.
Try it:

Cheers!

The moment I went out for a short travel there came the test date...."We sent you a notice on September 21, 2015 to appear and write the citizenship test on October 5, 2015 at 9:15 AM." I'll update the sheet when I get to a computer

Received email for the test :D

Its on October 9th :D ;D

That's awesome! First one from Montreal. Our timelines are very similar. Same application received day, same guy signed it, almost same AOR day... just the IP day is very different. I hope that means I'm also about to receive my test date, let's say, in the next 20 days (hopefully).

Congratulations, buddy. Keep us posted. And go nail this test!

Thanks bigudi :)
I hope you also get your test date very soon :)

We received your application for Canadian citizenship (grant of citizenship) on May 6, 2015.
We sent you correspondence acknowledging receipt of your application(s) on June 18, 2015.
We started processing your application on July 24, 2015.

It's been 2 months exact... So happy to see that someone from Montreal already got a test date..

Update:
I received my test invite for Oct 9th 1:30pm at Scarborough location. Letter dated Sept 21st, it came yesterday. Okay I'm panicking as I wasn't expecting this, meaning I haven't studied at all and already have busy weekend. It's cramming time!!

PS: Two month in process. Last time I checked my eCas was Sept 22nd but with no update. Checked today and there's a new line for test invite.

Note: Scarborough is in Toronto. They have their own office.
