Hi everyone. After a long time i am back to forum
I didn't had anything to update until today. My application went to In-Process since sept 14, 2015. I would like to know whats the next change in status. And also would like to know that how will they notify for test? And will there be sufficient time between the notification of test and the test?

I was notified by e-mail and given ~3-weeks notice (test invitation was sent out on August 27th, and test was September 16th).

As someone else already stated, that'd be illegal. It isn't difficult, once we were allowed to start the test I finished in a few minutes (along with a bunch of other people, so it wasn't just me who was fast). Study the guide (in addition to the book, you can also download the audiobook if you wish), pay attention to the details, and don't rely exclusively on CIC's quiz/app - it IS a good way to study, but none of the questions we get in that quiz/app or anything similar to it was in the actual test for me.

I applied for Canadian Citizenship application in May 2015 from Calgary, Alberta. Processing started on July 21, 2015.
Can anybody tell me the timeline, when I can expect a test date? Will i get a notification of the test on my e-mail or the regular post.

Any help is appreciated and if any other member who has applied from Calgary in the month of May?

Please take a look in how things are going (and take the time to add yourself to it). Base on these numbers, your guess is as good as ours. So far only Vancouverites (a few of them) got their test invites. At this point and with all these changes, it is kind of unpredictable.

If I'm not mistaken, you will get the test notification both by mail and email.

I did not get my test invitation yet. I assume it will take a good while.

Also one person from Winnipeg and one from Edmonton. So Calgary might be just around the corner!
