As per the PR line, it simply means that each person has a unique number with CIC, meaning any application submitted by you will be linked to that unique number.

That is why all your applications will be visible on the ECAS page (PR, Citizenship).

It was actually just a glitch and didn't happen to too many people. After 6 months that the PR application was completed and 30 days that a PR Card application was finished, they're taken down from e-CAS. I renewed my card in May, and exactly in the 30th day that the card had been mailed the information couldn't be accessed anymore. It didn't appear again; I mailed my citizenship application a week after getting my new card and got my AOR in late July.

Since I got my AOR on July 14, I donot get any further notice.

My ecase still shows recevied.

::)

I got my AOR on June 30th but my status was only changed to In Process on Aug 27. so, you are not alone :-)

There was a mistake made in my child's name on eCAS which I only found out after 6 weeks of being in "Received" status. I'm unsure if this might have contributed to the longer processing time but I am glad that it's all resolved now. Good luck.

Thank you.

There is nothing wrong with my ecase. Maybe it is because I live in a small city.

Keep waiting.

How do I make a new post? I am new here and see nowhere to make a new post...

Try at the post office :P

I think new members can not start a new thread before they post X amount of posts

Didn't you gave them your email. What you got in your mail is aor in a traditional way

Did you get an email? And an ebook to read online.
This is an AOR and your ecas will be active in 2days
This is the normal procedure for the aknowlgment letter.

I was told that The email was sent to me on 17 July. But I was not able to get it due to my wrong email address. So they sent me the letter and discover Canada by mail. The letter shows:

"This is a acknowledge receipt of your application for Canadian citizenship. Citizneship and immigration Canada will review your application and supporting documents and will contact you If additional information is required. When your application has been received and has met basic eligibility. CIC will invite you to a knowledge test. Interview and /or ceremony, as applicable.............."

So as you said . It is an AOR.:)
