Thank you Oren, congratulations to you too.

I didn't get AOR the first time, CIC just returned my application and asked me to attached some documents on and then send it back. What I noticed is, they stamped a date on the very first page on the application, and they put a check mark on every line where I filled information on the application, and staple everything together.

Thanks :)

What's the worst scenario? That you just fail your test, it's not the end of the world neither.

We are allowed to take it just twice right? Or more?

You are allowed to take it twice and then there is an interview with the citizenship judge who gives you a third chance. Ask random 20 questions and see if you pass. If you fail that then you have to file again from the beginning.

Trigger was lot of trips to home country and lot of travel to US

What' your total days when you applied?

I have 7 entries for my residence calculator. 6 US and 1 home country, total of 69 days outside. I applied with 1391 days. I hope no RQ :/ But they might ask me why I didn't apply earlier back in 2012. Also they will not look on my days way back 2008 right?

7 entries are nothing. I had 12 entries for US alone, 5 home country visit and 1 Dubai, UAE visit. I applied with 1096 days and 200 odd days out of the country in it.

They wont check anything past the 4 year period except for background checks and security clearance.

Having said all of it CIC is known to trouble even the most straight forward cases. It is always a coin toss with CIC. Since you have 1391 days you are well past the required eligible days.

Do not worry about things which are not in your control. I learnt it a lot late. I got RQ and worried from the day I got it. Couple of my friends asked me not look into it everyday. I would check my ecas and this forum for any hope. I finally left it for two weeks and suddenly in my mail box I got the pink letter. I was shocked and happy. I'm sure you will get your case processed smoothly.

So enjoy this journey coz once you have citizenship there is nothing different from PR in your day to day life. It will show up may be when you cross the border (if you need border control document) otherwise you don't even realize it.

You have been so used to not travel because of this citizenship. You will have created a lifestyle around it and it will take a while for you to even start travelling.
