I did staple then except for the application form itself I used a pin. I stapled only half of the staple pins so only one hole is punching through the papers. Thought it'd be easier for them take the staple pin out

Guys,

I have been reading that CIC does not want applicants to staple the documents but to use paper clips instead. What the citizenship application forms and the online residence calculator itself? There are so many pieces of paper...wouldn't it be safer to staple it together so that the documents are in proper grouping? I am applying for myself and family so there are a few sets of documents. I just worry that it might get mixed up later......any thoughts/ suggestions?

I put in flash memory and color copied from staples (35 cent each) all cost only toonie . however, I found color were more legible than black n white which I took from my printer those were barely legible because of security feature n color contrast of my passport.

Have added myself to the spreadsheet - Application received May 4th.

Just have to say that this was the most stressfree CIC application I have ever submitted! I have never been so relaxed putting this together and gathering all the documents - the stakes were a lot higher when it was my PR application being submitted almost three years ago!!

Hi Everyone,

I have another question to you: I am working on the residency calculator. Should I include air tickets or other supporting documents (e.g. conference invitation etc.).? I only included 1 air ticket because the entry date was not legible. Would you suggest adding all the tickets?
