Those are minor mistakes and should not interrupt processing of your application.

Yes, minor - I just can't believe I made some mistakes. Funny thing is asked my family to check my application but they didn't notice it too lol!!

Hi all...will be sending my citizenship application tomorrow too (May 12..) good luck to the May 12 crew!!

Anyone sending from Ottawa? What is the general process after it gets to Sydney, Nova Scotia? Does the application get transferred to local offices? If so, would it get transferred back to Ottawa? just curious about the general process...anyone know?

After they review your file their in Nova Scotia then they will send it to local office .

1-In 6E & 6F under To(YYY-DD-MM) column Do I have to write the current date when I am signing the application or I can write "TILL Date"...??

2- 6F : Under Employer or School attended column Do I have to write down the Employer and School name only...???

if you have attended school along with work do right those dates . along with school / college name under appropriate column

1- I wrote (Present) and that's what most of the applicants have written.
2- Yous should write the name of the university, college, or institute. for education... And name of the company for work.

I have a question about 6E and 6F. Do you list your vacations under 6E? In addition to couple of vacations, I also conducted fieldwork outside of Canada for four months (in multiple sites). Should I include this or not? The period is included in my online calculator. The same question goes for 6F. Does fieldwork count as 'work'? It was a part of my employment in a Canadian institution, therefore I tend to think I should not include it here.

If its been a vacation, then it has been a vacation. Of course... if you are on vacation for 6 months with a valid mail address etc.... then it counts as "absent".

And IF you have been living somewhere else (6E) then they will (possibly/surely) ask what did you do there (6F).... for longer "unusual" absences i've added an explanation letter. (for Perm. Residency) There was no, or,... they had no problem with that.
